Strategy That Promotes Comprehension

It seems like this website has really good articles about comprehension since most of the sources are from this reading rocks website. I really like the article that I found because it gives a lot of different strategies to promote comprehension in the classroom. In the article it really gives step by step instructions for all of the different strategies and just what to do in general in the classroom to promote comprehension. It tells you what to do before reading the material and then what to do after and I think that as future teachers this is great to use for our future classrooms. There are great examples of what to do and how to go about doing it. The article discusses many of the instructional strategies that we discussed in class the past few days such as, K. W. L. and story maps (graphic organizers). I think that this article is a great resources that goes along with what we are reading for class.
