This is a video about a man who
became a successful author because of the support of his family and teachers as
he overcame many struggles in life. He talks about creativity, imagination, and
the importance of writing in school. He expresses the importance of art and
education along with development of writing. He talks about how in third grade,
the first book he wrote he would let the words tell the story and other times
he let the pictures tell the story.
This video is an inspiration to me
as a future teacher because one day I might have a student like this. I want to
be a teacher who encourages creativity in writing along with the importance of
illustrations. As teachers and parents it is vital for us to encourage and
support the creativity of writing and drawing.
