For my source I chose an online article with the title:” Seven Strategies to Teach Students Text Comprehension.”

            I believe it is a very interesting, understandable, and supportive resource of information that we have discussed in class or read in our textbook, but explained in a different and shorter way.

In my opinion it is very fundamental that we as teachers clearly understand the concepts and strategies of comprehension of a text because this is a skill that children will build on over the period of their life.  When the foundation for comprehension was not laid right they may have problems for the rest of their lives and it will only make their learning harder.

I really liked about this source that it states specific examples that made the source more understandable and that it also had links to additional resources, fro example different graphic organizers.
